nobody shows the number.

the number above is ridiculous. that's the point of writing it down where i can see it.
almost nothing sits in cash. everything i own is working, on purpose, and what i owe is covered by what i already hold. my whole paycheck goes in every week: into the vault, borrow against it, put that straight back in, two or three times over. nothing on that line gets paid down by hand. it pays itself down while i sleep, and every piece that clears is more i can borrow, and that goes straight back in. so it doesn't just grow. it feeds itself 💀 it comes out of my pay, every week, on purpose.
a ledger you can't argue with beats a plan you can. my money used to be a rumor i told myself. mine has a timestamp.
the whole ledger runs on one rule: every prediction i write down gets scored when reality answers. money decisions, plans, guesses, all checked against what actually happened. that's the part that learns. 🧠
habits live in the same ledger as the money, held to the same standard. either that's discipline or it's a warning sign. 🚩 both are readable from the outside.
four lines. copy them.
- pick one number. not a budget app. one number, written down somewhere you'll actually look.
- pick a date. mine is the one on my page. it has to be a day that exists.
- automatic, not manual. nothing on mine is entered by hand. if you can quietly edit the number, you will.
- score your own calls afterwards. the remembering does the work. 🧠
send this to someone who says they're broke. 🫡
it wakes up every fifteen minutes, whether you're looking or not. ⏰
